  • Ensure that your remove all breakable items such as mirror, lamps, antiques, wall hangings or other such valuable items from the area of installation.

  • Make sure to remove the electrical wiring running under carpet, along the baseboard or door casings.

  • Ensure that the temperature of the area remains between 60° and 80°
  • Keep your children and pets away from the area of installation.

After Installation Process:

  • Make sure to change your Air filters.
  • If required, complete any touchup painting on door, walls or trim.
  • Ensure that all the doors are working properly. If the carpet installed is thicker than your previous carpet, then the doors might not swing freely. If this happens, hire a carpenter for trimming or installing replacements.
  • Next, carefully move back all the furniture and other décor item in your room using proper moving equipments.
  • Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and place appropriate protectors on the feet of your furniture such as chair and tables to avoid any damage to your carpet.
  • Make sure to immediately commence the proper care and maintenance of your carpet. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendation to keep your carpet eligible for warranty and keep it looking fresh and new.
